How Can You Help Me Lower My Turnover?

Have you ever hired someone or brought someone in on a contract and they quit after a few weeks or months?  Don’t you hate starting over with re-training and getting another person up to speed?  It’s expensive and time consuming.

 The recruiting and temporary staffing business is not a collection of candidates, resumes, clients and job orders.  It’s people.  People have fears, emotions, needs and desires.  With a little support, people can overcome tremendous changes. 

  • We stay in contact with newly placed candidates (often for months after a permanent placement).  We discuss the job, the stresses, and the changes taking place in their lives and careers.  We do whatever we can to make the newly placed candidate feel comfortable with the changes that have occurred.  We realize that new jobs and change can be stressful.  Stress causes turnover.

  • We don’t place someone and walk away.

  • We stay in close contact with our consultants.  We monitor progress, successes, problems and potential bottlenecks.  We review this information with client management as often as necessary.  We make sure everyone is completely knowledgeable about the status of a project.  

  • We show up at client sites.  We pay our contracting employees in person.  We deliver client invoices in person.  We see each other face-to-face.  We address problems before they address us.
